As part of the promotion for the show CW is releasing an online series called A Darker Truth. This online series takes viewers on location, and gives out backstory tidbits about the show’s characters.
The online series follows a young man named Jason who is trying to find his sister’s killer. Not only does he believe Stefan Salvatore is the killer, but he also knows Stefan is a vampire. His search takes him to Mystic Falls where he learns more about the Salvatore family.
