2×03 “Bad Moon Rising” Official Description

The CW has released the official description of the third episode of season 2, “Bad Moon Rising”, which will be airing on September 23rd. As promised, Tyler seems to be getting more and more important this season and more Alaric & Damon badass team to look forward!

2×02 “Brave New World” Additional Episode Stills

Matt (Zach Roerig) is completely mystified by Caroline’s behavior, but still tries to tell her about his feelings for her.. Damon has suspicions about Tyler’s Uncle Mason (guest star Taylor Kinney..) and uses Tyler’s (Michael Trevino) volatile personality in an attempt to get Mason to reveal his secret. Upset with everything going on around her, Bonnie (Katerina Graham) takes her anger out on Damon. Steven R. McQueen also stars. John Dahl directed the episode written by Brian Young (#202).

2×01 The Return Full Synopsis

We finally have a synopsis for The Return!

KATHERINE HAS RETURNED WITH A VENGEANCE — Picking up on the same night as last season’s finale, Elena (Nina Dobrev) arrives home to a nightmare as she discovers Uncle John’s and Jeremy’s fate. At the hospital, Sheriff Forbes (guest star Marguerite MacIntyre) is comforted by Matt (Zach Roering), Bonnie (Katerina Graham) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) while she waits to hear if Caroline (Candice Accola) will survive the car accident. After a confusing conversation with Elena about the night’s events, Damon is the first to realize that Katherine (also played by Nina Dobrev) has returned. Katherine’s arrival sends Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon on a path to find out what she wants, why she’s back, and how much of a threat she is to the people they love. Meanwhile, still reeling from his father’s death, Tyler (Michael Trevino) is surprised when his charming and mysterious uncle, Mason Lockwood (guest star Taylor Kinney, “Trauma”), arrives to console the family. Season 1 DVD Release Date and Extras

Vampire Diaries Season One DVD will be available on August 31st, in time to get ready for the Season 2 premiere on September 9. Here’s a list of all the extras that you will be able to find The Complete 1st Season DVD and Blu-ray box.

Overnight, while vampires still lurked about in the pre-dawn hours, Warner made it official and announced that The Vampire Diaries – The Complete 1st Season will arrive on DVD (5 discs, $59.98 SRP) and high-def Blu-ray (4 discs, $69.97 SRP) this August 31st. Season 2 Premiere Title & First Set Pictures!

Season 2 has officially started! The cast & crew are currently filming the much anticipated season 2 premiere and thanks to Ian Somerhalder we know that the title of the first episode of season 2 will be “The Return”.

Also, Paul M. Sommers (director of Photography), Michael Trevino (Tyler) and Nina Dobrev have shared the first set photos of Season 2!

Unfortunately, we still have to wait a little more for Season 2, but surely the little hints we get on twitter make the wait easier!

First off, my apologizes for the lack of updates during this month, life has been crazy hectic and I haven’t been able to update as usually, but I will update site with the most important news you may have missed during these days in the following posts and expect us to get back to our regular updates.

I’m starting with the news that a lot of you were eager to read, as Julie Plec already hinted after the season 1 finale, the much anticipated season 2 will premiere in early September.  The CW announced the official date will be September 9, so mark your calendars!

On Wednesday, September 8, Cycle 15 of the hit reality series AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) kicks-off the 2010-2011 season, followed by the series premiere of new drama HELLCATS (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET). HELLCATS is a pumped-up drama about a young pre-law student (Aly Michalka, “Bandslam”) whose world is turned upside-down when she loses her scholarship and has to join the college’s competitive cheerleading squad.
